These past week, people start to have difficulties in differentiating me with my twin sister. I thought there must be something happen either to me or my sister. I looked to my sister, but I had nothing to see whether she had became slimmer. I conclude that it was me that getting chubbier. I had loss 8 kg from 67 kg to 59 kg in three months (Nov 2015-Feb 2016) and been maintaining my weight for it. Personally I would prefer that my weight can achieve 52-53 kg ideally. However, I lost my motivation in the middle of the journey. So... Here I am, continuing the Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide program which I had in March to June 2016. I had done 4 weeks of beginner BBG program and 4 weeks of BBG. Total of 8 from 12 weeks I used Kayla Itsines program. See! I definitely lost my mood on this.
Yet, a new months is a great start of all. I've made my mind to start a new series of Kayla Itsines BBG program. This program is a 12 week program with set tri-weekly workouts consists of circuit exercises. You have 2 circuits to be done. One set of circuit should be done in 7 minutes (if you finish early, do the set again again). Then you have 7 minutes again in circuit 2. Do each set for twice. You'll have 28 minutes workout (7mins x 4). The intensity will increase every 4 weeks, but week 1 is tough when you stop working out for 1 or 2 months!
In a week you should accomplish:
2-3 resistance workouts (Legs& Cardio, Arm & Abs, and Full Body Workout)
2-3 LISS (Low Intensity Steady State) Cardio Workout e.g. walking, jogging, swimming, cycling
1 Stretch Workout
Day 1 Legs & Cardio
The first day is the toughest one. It takes my courage to do this workout guide by Kayla Itsines. I did circuit 1 twice and circuit 2 once. I failed this day. My workout session was disturbed by my grandpa asking me to buy him online flight ticket. Even though I did third-fourth of it, I still felt my legs shaking when I walk down through the stairs. Better you do it right tomorrow!
Day 2 LISS
I woke up not feeling too sore on my legs because I didn't do the whole series yesterday. In my opinion, LISS is the easiest one I can do for now. I have trained myself for cardio these several weeks. I ran for 35 minutes and 5 minutes of cooling down. In total, I burned 146 calories. At night, I went to JPCC Worship concert which made me sweaty for the 2 hours worship session. Is this count? I don't think so HAHA!
Day 3 Arm & Abs
I was not supposed to wake up early in the morning, yet I woke up and took my brother to school. I was about to do arm and abs workout but in the end I didn't make it the morning. Instead of working out, I explained BBG workout to my mom (since she beg me to brief her first) and clean my laptop files. I got tired and sleepy which made me sleep until 8pm. Luckily, I did wake up and did half of arms and abs in the night. My butt was stretch by the yoga mat. I think I should buy exercise mat instead of yoga mat. I couldn't make it anymore since my butt really hurt :(
Day 4 LISS
I did my LISS and ended with burning 149 calories. I ate more than 1000 calories this day. I was not able to control my ego on food. HAHA. So you're not the only one who struggling by the way. In the end of the day, I got sleepy for I have bible night discussion with some of my friends.
Day 5 Full Body Workout
I didn't make this workout because I went to airport to send my friend to Madagascar. I went nearly a whole day that I didn't exercise at all.
Day 6 LISS
I didn't do the LISS this day. I went to surprise my friend's birthday and I slept until afternoon. I woke up and ate a bowl of noodles, then I went to hangout till night. I didn't eat well this day. I just make it to eat biscuits in the morning and eat noodles in the afternoon, that's all. Need to have a proper meal tho!
Day 7 Rest
I did rest!! I rest for 3 days since I didn't do day 5 and 6's workout. My uncle asked me out for dinner. My sisters and I went to eat some chinese food, which is soooo good. I got too full at night. I should have been exercising more. Let's see how next week will be ;)
